Why SaaS brands disappear in AI-assisted research

The company may have good expertise—but weak retrieval, weak evidence or an unclear story.

AI visibility problems are rarely solved by adding a new acronym to the SEO plan. They usually come from gaps in the information systems and buyers can actually access.

The brand is described inconsistently.

Product language, audience, category, founders, expertise and service details change across pages, profiles and third-party sources.

Useful answers are buried inside vague pages.

Buyers and systems struggle when definitions, comparisons, limitations, fit, process and proof are implied rather than explained directly.

Evidence is weak or disconnected.

Expertise, client proof, first-party data, authorship and sources may exist but remain separated from the pages making important commercial claims.

Monitoring creates noise instead of decisions.

Random prompts and screenshots do not create a usable baseline by market, platform, buyer question, citation source or commercial relevance.

Choose the right level of support

Start with the smallest engagement that can produce a trustworthy visibility decision.

The Pricing page remains the source of truth. AI Visibility is included in the SEO and AI Visibility offers, with broader strategy available when the search journey spans channels.

The AI Visibility framework

Improve the information path from technical eligibility to commercial trust.

AI Visibility is not one optimisation. It is the combined quality of access, meaning, answers, evidence and measurement.

01 · Access

Eligibility

Important pages must be crawlable, indexable, internally linked and available in text.

02 · Meaning

Entity clarity

Make the company, people, services, audience, topics and relationships consistent.

03 · Answers

Extractable usefulness

Explain definitions, comparisons, fit, process, limitations and commercial questions directly.

04 · Trust

Evidence

Connect expert authorship, sources, client proof, first-party data and transparent claims.

05 · Learning

Monitoring

Track prompt sets, mentions, citations, linked sources, referrals and useful buyer actions.

What Google’s guidance means in practice

Strong SEO fundamentals remain more important than decorative “AI optimisation.”

There is no special AI schema or magic machine-readable file.

Google’s current Search documentation says pages must be indexed and eligible to appear with a normal snippet to be considered as supporting links in AI Overviews or AI Mode. It also says there are no additional technical requirements and no special schema.org markup required.

That makes crawlability, useful content, internal links, visible text, accurate structured data and strong page experience the practical foundation.

Read Google Search Central guidance →
Important content must remain accessible in text Do not hide the core answer inside images, video, gated files or interfaces that search systems cannot reliably access.
Structured data should match visible content Schema can clarify page meaning and support eligible search features, but it should describe what visitors can actually see.
Internal links make useful pages easier to find Commercial pages, specialist guides, proof and author information should form an understandable site structure.
Eligibility never guarantees inclusion Search and AI platforms decide what to crawl, index, retrieve, cite, summarise or display for each query.

What the service covers

Strengthen the pages and evidence buyers encounter during complex research.

Included in the agreed AI Visibility scope

AI Visibility baseline Defined prompt sets by market, platform, buyer stage and commercial question.
Buyer-question and prompt research Definitions, comparisons, alternatives, implementation, risks and decision questions.
Citation-source and competitor analysis Which sources appear, what they provide and where your evidence is weaker.
Entity and brand-description consistency Company, experts, services, audience, categories and supporting profiles.
Direct-answer and page structure Clear definitions, summaries, comparisons, FAQs, limitations and next steps.
Author and expert-entity improvements Visible ownership, relevant background, topic connections and supporting proof.
First-party evidence opportunities Original data, documented examples, methodology, definitions and expert insight.
Internal links and content relationships Connect commercial pages, supporting answers, results, authors and related services.
Structured-data review Appropriate Person, Organization, Service, Article, Breadcrumb and page markup.
Monitoring and commercial interpretation Mentions, citations, linked sources, referrals, assisted actions and pipeline context.

Measurement without false precision

Track visibility signals and commercial outcomes separately—then look for useful connections.

Prompt-set visibility

Mentions and answer categories

Record platform, market, date, question, brand presence, answer type and meaningful changes over time.

Citation quality

Linked sources and competitors

Track whether the brand is cited, which page is linked, which sources dominate and whether the citation is relevant.

Owned-site discovery

Queries, referrals and landing pages

Review Search Console, analytics, AI referrals, branded discovery and the pages buyers use after early research.

Commercial context

Qualified actions and pipeline

Keep demo quality, opportunities and pipeline reporting distinct from prompt visibility; connect them only where evidence supports it.

AI outputs can vary by platform, model, location, date, prompt wording and system behaviour. Monitoring is directional evidence, not a promise of stable placement or exact attribution.

How the first 90 days work

Establish a baseline, fix the strongest controllable gaps and expand from evidence.

The exact sequence depends on the site and market, but the work normally moves from research and diagnosis to page improvement, evidence and monitoring.

01

Commercial and prompt context

Clarify audiences, markets, buyer questions, competitors, priority pages, platforms and the business decisions visibility should support.

02

Baseline and evidence diagnosis

Record mentions, citations, sources and gaps; review crawlability, entity consistency, page answers, authorship and proof.

03

Priority-page improvement

Improve the commercial pages and supporting answers most likely to strengthen understanding, relevance and buyer trust.

04

Monitor, learn and expand

Re-run the defined prompt set, review linked sources and site behaviour, then update the roadmap from observable evidence.

How it connects to SEO and Google Ads

AI-assisted research is one part of a non-linear search journey.

A buyer may discover an idea in an AI answer, verify it through organic search, return directly, compare alternatives and later click a paid result. The channels should share evidence and language without pretending the journey is linear.

Foundation

SEO makes useful pages eligible and discoverable.

Crawlability, indexability, internal links, page relevance, visible text and technical quality remain the foundation.

Research and trust

AI Visibility improves clarity, evidence and retrieval potential.

Direct answers, consistent entities, expert ownership and credible sources help systems and buyers interpret the company more accurately.

Demand capture

Google Ads captures later commercial intent.

Paid search can use the same buyer questions, proof, brand language and page strategy when the need becomes more immediate.

Evidence standard

Credibility improves when the page is explicit about what has—and has not—been proven.

No invented AI Visibility case studies.

The strongest verified numerical track record is in paid search. AI Visibility and AEO are current service capabilities and methodologies. They are not presented with made-up citation increases, referral figures or platform outcomes.

The relevant proof is direct SaaS and B2B search experience, commercial-page discipline, transparent measurement and a refusal to promise outcomes controlled by external platforms.

Paid-search experience since 2010 Commercial search work close to intent, landing pages, conversion signals and sales-assisted SaaS funnels.
Founder-led delivery Strategy and review remain close to Andrei rather than being handed to an unfamiliar junior account team.
Visible evidence boundaries Platform-controlled outcomes, unstable prompt results and attribution limitations remain explicit in the service and reporting.

Fit requirements

Better fit creates stronger evidence, cleaner priorities and a more useful first call.

Likely a strong fit

  • SaaS or B2B with complex products or sales-assisted buying
  • Buyers ask important definition, comparison and implementation questions
  • The website has expertise, proof or first-party evidence worth strengthening
  • The team can improve commercial pages, content and technical foundations
  • Leadership accepts that visibility and pipeline require separate measurement

Probably not the right fit

  • The goal is guaranteed citations or a fixed “share of AI” promise
  • Mass AI-generated content is the primary requirement
  • Fake mentions, link schemes or manufactured authority are expected
  • The team will not improve weak pages, evidence or technical access
  • There is no meaningful commercial question behind the monitoring

AI Visibility, AEO and GEO questions

Clear answers before you book.

How much does AI Visibility work cost?

AI Visibility is delivered through the SEO and AI Visibility offers. The diagnostic starts from €2,000 one-time, while ongoing SEO and AI Visibility Growth starts from €2,500 per month. Integrated Search Growth starts from €5,000 per month when Google Ads, organic search and AI-assisted research need one strategy.

Is there a standalone AI-citation package?

No. A citation-only package would overstate what a consultant controls. AI Visibility work is scoped around SEO foundations, commercial pages, answers, entities, evidence, authorship, internal relationships and responsible monitoring.

What is the difference between AI Visibility, AEO and GEO?

AI Visibility describes how consistently and accurately a brand appears during AI-assisted research. Answer Engine Optimisation focuses on making useful answers clearer, better structured and better supported. Generative Engine Optimisation is a related industry term. None of the labels creates a guaranteed placement.

Does Google require special AI schema?

Google’s current documentation says there is no special schema.org markup, AI text file or additional technical requirement for AI Overviews or AI Mode. The page still needs to meet normal Search requirements and be eligible to appear with a snippet.

Can SEO, schema or AEO guarantee AI citations?

No. The work can improve crawlability, clarity, relevance, evidence, entity understanding and citation potential, but each platform controls retrieval, inclusion, citation, wording and links.

Which AI platforms are monitored?

The prompt set and platforms are agreed in the scope based on market, audience, product and commercial relevance. The aim is a repeatable baseline, not an unlimited collection of screenshots from every available tool.

How is AI Visibility measured?

A defined prompt set records platform, market, date, brand mention, answer category, citation, linked source and competitors. Owned-site discovery, referrals, qualified actions and pipeline are measured separately.

Does the service include content writing?

Page strategy, briefs, answer structures, optimisation guidance and agreed copy support can be included. Large-scale article production or unlimited copywriting is not included by default.

Does the service include technical SEO and schema?

Technical diagnosis and structured-data recommendations can be included. Large-scale development, migrations or complex implementation may require collaboration with the client’s development team or another specialist.

Can AI Visibility be bought without Google Ads?

Yes. SEO and AI Visibility Growth can be scoped as a standalone service. Integrated Search Growth is recommended only when paid, organic and AI-assisted research need shared priorities and measurement.

How quickly should results appear?

There is no responsible universal timeline. Visibility depends on the starting point, competition, technical access, website authority, evidence, implementation speed, model behaviour and platform changes. The first objective is to improve controllable inputs and establish a useful baseline.

What should I bring to the first call?

Bring the website, priority products or services, markets, important buyer questions, known AI or organic visibility concerns, competitors, current monitoring and the commercial decisions the team needs to support.

Improve the information your buyers—and AI systems—can actually use.

Bring the current website, priority buyer questions and visibility problem. In 30 minutes, we can decide whether you need a €2,000+ diagnostic, ongoing support from €2,500/month, a €4,000+ strategy sprint, integrated growth from €5,000/month—or another route.
